3 Day Detox to Help You Look and Feel Better

Are you like many people out there looking for the safest, quickest way to look and feel better? Well, look no further. Read on to learn some tips on the right way to go about it.

Doing a 3 day detox diet is a great way to rapidly cleanse your body and not have to commit yourself to a long term diet. Many of you know, by trial and error, that diets that last longer than a couple of days are super hard to stay committed to. That is why doing a 3 day detox is so much easier and more effective because you know you only have to commit 3 days to the process and it actually becomes enjoyable, instead of a burden.

This 3 day detox is very simple to and easy to follow. There are a couple different options you can choose from that will fit your lifestyle and tastes. But remember, once you choose your detox system, you have to follow it exactly; otherwise, the process will not work for you.

Day 1

So today is the day – you set out to cleanse your body. Getting rid of all that excess is going to be the hardest part, but all you have to do is start by drinking water when you get up  in the morning. Then throughout this first day, you will continue to drink water, and add in some fresh fruit juice. But it must be fresh juice, do not get anything with added sugars. VERY IMPORTANT! Your breakfast will consist of a light wholegrain cereal and a piece of fruit; your lunch will be some fresh veggies and fish and your dinner will follow the same menu as your lunch. You can have salad and fruit, but what you mainly what to intake is veggies and water – both of these are great ways to help eliminate unwanted waste. You will also need to exercise, but don’t worry – it doesn’t have to be anything hard core. A short 30 minute stroll around the neighborhood should be just perfect.

Day 2

On the 2nd day you will continue the detoxification process that you started on day 1. After all, you don’t want to stop now, so it is VERY important to keep drinking a lot of water. Just a reminder: no coffee, tea, soda or anything like that is allowed throughout this entire detoxification process; also no junk food – I know that’s probably a given, but I wanted to make sure I mentioned it. I know, I know, many of you don’t want to give up any of those “good things”, but get over it – you will be thanking me when you look and feel better! 🙂

Today for breakfast you should only have fresh fruit and water. For lunch a green salad is what is on the menu and dinner once again will be fish (steamed, broiled, or baked) and fresh veggies. By the end of this day you should already be starting to feel amazing and your skin will show it too! It will have a glow and look clearer. And did I mention that bloated feeling will be gone!

Day 3

The last day of the detox and water and fruit is what you get. You may notice that you feel incredibly hungry today, but don’t worry about it, it’s just your body getting rid of all that junk it’s hold on to for far too long. You will not exercise today due to the lack of food you will be eating. So don’t do anything that requires you to exert a lot of energy. You may have some vegetables for dinner, but other than that…water and fruit is what you stick to.

So you may be thinking that your 3 day detox food intake seems very limited, but don’t forget, you’re only doing this for 3 short days and the whole purpose is to cleanse your system. By eliminated foods that have chemicals or unnatural substances, you will be giving your body a 100% natural diet, which is how it always wants you to eat anyway.

After you’ve completed your 3 days, take a look in the mirror and tell yourself what an amazing job you’ve done. I know that you are now well on your way to looking better and feeling amazing!
