Eat Right & Exercise Yourself to a Healthier YOU

We all know that exercise is a proven way to keep your body fit and healthy. It helps us to live long, healthy, productive lives. As we age, bodily functions start to naturally decrease. If you or someone you know fails to stay active while you are young, then the aging process is going to speed up. However, you incorporate exercise into your daily lifestyle then you will feel good and healthy for a long time to come.

In your exercise routine you want to make sure to include cardiovascular workouts. These are workouts that will work out your heart; increase your heart rate and pump blood so that it flows smoothly to your heart. You want to make sure to also include strength training and resistance training to help build stronger muscles and prevent injured joints.

Research has actually shown that individuals that regularly workout with weights can live a more productive, long life. A study was done where 3 groups of men were broken up into groups. During the study they discovered that those individuals who worked out on a consistent basis had lower cholesterol levels than those who did not work out at all. The study results also showed that resistance training actually increases overall strength blood flow and weightlifting will boost your metabolism, which will give you more energy. Not only that, but weightlifting will will strengthen your muscles and give you more endurance.

Individuals that choose not to workout should be aware that as you age your bone density decreases. Once this happens, the blood will start to slowly channel to your heart, which can put you at risk for heart disease.

Working out on a regular basis will also slow the aging process, but always keep in mind your fitness level and age when working out as to not overdo it. It is not smart to lift more weights than you can handle. If you are trying to increase your resistance, remember to keep your weights at a lower amount and increase your reps. Try to have someone work out with you when you are lifting weights, just in case you lift something that is too heavy, you will have someone there to help you.

Eating right to live a longer, healthier life:

Even starting in our youth we start to lose vitamins, fibers, and other nutrients. Also, something that is interesting is that the dying cells start to increase, while the living cells decrease. This is why it is highly recommended that you add vitamins or supplements to your daily regiment. We personally recommend AdvoCare, since they are the safest, most tested supplements on the market. Not to mention, our clients that incorporate AdvoCare get amazing results.

If you are currently eating a lot of fast food and processed foods, then you will want to start to change into eating in a healthier way. This starts by eating 5 small meals a day, instead of not eating or eating too much at each meal. By changing what you put in your mouth, you will start to lose weight and just feel better.

You need to make lasting changes that you can do on a daily basis. If it’s not something you can do forever, then 9x out of 10 you won’t stick to it. So you will want to learn how to eat correctly, not just diet. Remember to include plenty of protein, fruits, and veggies into your diet for optimal success.
